BVC have developed a range of electric and compressed air driven industrial vacuum cleaners for use in potentially explosive atmospheres where the presence of gases, vapours, mists or dust may ignite.
Under the EU ATEX 100a directive 94/9/EC only suitably approved machines can be used to perform this duty.

The machines offer collection capacities up to 80 litres of dry product and some can also be used with liquids.

 For every BVC ATEX approved model a sample appliance has been either tested by a reputable third party organisation and found to meet the essential Health and Safety requirements under the ATEX Directive 94/9/EC - OR - has been tested and given ATEX certification by a Notified Body approved by The Department of Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform.
